about
This is sorta like a rough draft of the song, but I wanna get it out there. I wrote it about my favorite book, The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. It's about a pilot whose plane crashes and he befriends a lil prince from a different planet; you should definitely read it.
I'll be uploading a better version of this and more stuff very soon :-)
Thanks for listening!!

Lyrics by Charli Pfaff
If I was stranded in the desert, there's no one I'd rather see than you
I'd draw you sheep and we could sleep in the shadow of this airplane,
there's room enough for two
You could talk all day, I wouldn't mind
You could talk about your flower, and how you left it behind
And I know you miss your home, but please don't go
'Cause I enjoy your company
Tell me about the grown-ups, how they don't understand
How they twist and mess up everything you try to say to them
I'll listen to you and nod and laugh
'Cause I know just how you feel
We speak our own language that we don't say out loud
What's on the outside doesn't matter, it's what's inside that counts
You tamed me like a fox
You know my ticklish spots
You think my jokes are funny even when they're clearly not
You mean more to me than you know
So someday when I have to let you go,
I'll come back to this spot where we first met
And I'll look up at the night sky and remember what you said
Wherever you are, I hope you're happy since
You changed everything for me,
You'll always be my little prince.
